Sports are means to develop several important skills such as creating a sense of community, understanding how essential it is to work in a team, and learning how to collaborate with your partners. Those are some of the things we aim to achieve with our annual football tournaments.
Our aim is to create a safe space for the community, a place for players to have fun at the matches, practice their abilities, and develop bonds and friendships with their mates. Besides, what a joy it is to go to a tournament, cheer for your team and maybe see your relatives playing. It’s a party that allows having a nice time with friends, family and relaxation. Don’t you agree?
To make the football tournaments a success, we have an amazing team of volunteers who are giving their best, organizing all the details. “Build a future, cement a legacy” is the motto of the Mehiel – Youth Football Tournaments.
We believe the future is now and we want to create opportunities that will help our youth deal with their daily struggles. We want them to know that they are not alone and can count on initiatives like these to encounter support and understanding. Each one of us can make a difference in the world, we hope the participants can see that as well, and be inspired to leave their mark on the world.
Although there are so many challenges to face every day, we want to give hope to the young generation. Sports have the power to transform lives, our tournament is the beginning.
With every new tournament we organise, we see more and more teams registering as well as many amazing players celebrating with them as a reminder that community matters and small actions can be the first step towards great changes.
Want to join us at the tournament, become a Mehiel volunteer or an ambassador to help promote new sports initiatives around the world or would you like to partner with us? Get in touch, we will be very happy to hear from you!
