Pakistan is in crisis following a monster downpour of unprecedented force and scale in its history, leaving more than 1,100 people dead, over 30 million homeless and thousands still missing.
A third of the country's territory remains underwater after recent heavy rains caused rivers to overflow their banks.
The United Nations estimates that some 20 million people are at risk from disease, hunger and lack of clean drinking water. Families have lost everything—their homes, their livestock and their livelihoods.
